Supplier Sourcing Event

Supplier sourcing event 20 November

  • 20 November at 8.30am- 10am - The Space @ SERC (opposite SERC Campus in Bangor)

Calling all architects, contractors and plumbers come along to hear about the grant opportunities currently worth £1.3 million in AND. Ards and North Down Labour Market Partnership Supplier Sourcing event in partnership with NI Housing Executive and Radius Housing.

About the event

The aim of Ards and North Down Labour Market Partnership is to help improve employability outcomes and labour market conditions locally.

Supplier Sourcing Event:

Did you know there are currently private sector housing grant projects available in Ards and North Down worth around £1.3million requiring architects, contractors, plumbers and more?

Join Ards and North Down Labour Market Partnership (LMP), the Housing Executive Belfast & South East Private Grants Team along with Radius Housing’s ‘Staying Put Team’ at this special Supplier Sourcing event. Taking place in The Space @ SERC (opposite SERC Campus in Bangor) on the 20 November at 8.30am- 10am, a light breakfast will also be served.

This is a free event and we welcome small to medium sized contractors in the construction sector interested in information about the available work within the Housing Executive Private Sector Grants in the Ards and North Down area.

We also welcome architects and other design professionals who would be interested in becoming involved in the design of Disabled Adaptations to private properties for Housing Executive Private Sector Grants.

The Housing Executive and Radius will share information regarding available grant work for private homeowners (not linked to procurement of Housing Executive landlord contracts). The purpose of the event is to encourage micro enterprises and SMEs to get involved in carrying out Affordable Warmth Scheme and Home Improvement Grants to private dwellings.

Officers from Ards and North Down LMP will also highlight the work of the Partnership and support available. Information on the Go Succeed service will also be provided by Council Officers to inform you about the FREE business mentoring support and workshops to help your business grow.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to find out more and potentially expand your business.

Places are limited so early booking is recommended.

If you cannot attend, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours and no shows will incur a cancellation charge.

It is entirely at the Council’s discretion to accept registrations. Registrations are only accepted from businesses within Ards and North Down due to the criteria of the funding.
