About the event
This dynamic two-hour workshop is designed for new business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs ready to secure their first customers, or targeting new customers.
Through practical guidance and motivational insight, participants will explore proven strategies across multiple sales channels - from direct outreach and networking to online platforms and partnerships. We'll break down the sales process, help you identify your ideal customer, and build confidence in your approach.
Whether you're selling a product or service, this session will equip you with the tools and mindset to take decisive action and achieve that all-important first targeted sale.
Workshop Goals
By the end of the workshop, participants should have an understanding of the following;
- Clear Customer Profile – Define and understand your ideal customer to target your efforts effectively.
- Sales Channel Overview – Gain insight into various sales channels (e.g. direct sales, online platforms, social media, partnerships) and how to choose the right ones.
- Sales Strategy Framework – Learn a simple, actionable framework to guide your first sales efforts.
- Confidence in Outreach – Build confidence in approaching potential customers through practical exercises and scripts.
- First Steps Action Plan – Leave with a personalised action plan to pursue your first sale immediately after the workshop.
- Motivation & Mindset – Develop a resilient, proactive mindset to overcome early-stage sales challenges.
This Go Succeed workshop is open to all individuals in the early stages of their business, located in the Ards and North Down Borough Council area and neighbouring Council areas.
