Idea To First Sale: A Beginners Guide To Starting A Business
You’ve got a concept, now what?
About the event
We’ll guide you through refining your idea, validating it with potential customers and making that all-important first sale.
You’ll leave with a clear roadmap for getting your product or service into the hands of your first buyers.
This practical session focuses on turning ideas into action in a safe, low-risk way.
Participants will learn how to test whether an idea is viable before investing significant time or money.
We will explore simple ways to talk to potential customers, gather feedback and adapt your offer based on real responses.
The goal is to replace guesswork with clarity and help you take your first confident step into trading.
This workshop is part of a series of business support sessions aimed at people who are economically inactive, meaning they are not currently in work and not actively looking for a job.
This may include people who are long term sick or disabled, carers, parents without access to childcare, students who are not working, early retirees, or those facing barriers such as confidence, transport, or digital access.
Some participants may receive benefits, others may not, but all are considered outside the active labour market.
Don’t worry if you don’t fit into the categories above, you’re still welcome to join us!
This workshop is brought to you as part of Go Succeed NI. Go Succeed represents a significant investment in local entrepreneurs and businesses, funded by the UK Government.
