The DTFF grant scheme closed for applications on 27 February 2026 at 12 noon.
DTFF seeks to address the financial barriers to the adoption of advanced digital technologies to achieve business transformation amongst small and micro-businesses.
DTFF grants are worth between £5,000 and £20,000 ex VAT and are designed to help small and micro businesses accelerate their digital transformation ambitions.
DTFF Mentoring Support
Ards and North Down Borough Council has launched a new mentoring initiative to help local businesses strengthen their applications to the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund (DTFF).
The support is designed to help eligible businesses better understand DTFF requirements, scope credible digital transformation projects, and avoid common application pitfalls that can prevent otherwise strong ideas from securing funding.
The council’s proactive approach recognises that many small and medium-sized businesses have strong digital ambitions and benefit from additional time and structured support to develop a clear, well-evidenced DTFF application and digital transformation plan.
The mentoring support will provide participating businesses with structured diagnostics and one-to-one mentoring focused on DTFF application readiness. This includes clarifying project scope, understanding what constitutes transformational impact, and ensuring businesses are fully prepared before submitting an application.
The programme is open to eligible businesses based in the Ards and North Down Borough Council area. Participation in the mentoring support does not guarantee DTFF funding and does not include application writing or project delivery.
